Go out into the world …

A Blessing for the Lenten Journey.

The Sundays in Lent are not counted in the 40 days of Lent. On the Sundays in Lent we will share words of blessing. ~Fr. Dan

We begin with a blessing composed for the First Sunday in Lent by the folks of Laughing Bird Liturgical Resources, a ministry of South Yarra Community Baptist Church in Melbourne, Australia.

Go out into the world in the righteousness of Christ.
Do not hide your sin, but trust in God who gives mercy and love.
Do not be afraid to face the wilderness, but do not compromise with evil.

And may God be your shelter to save you from ruin.
May Christ be your teacher and show you the path to walk.
And may the Spirit encircle you with songs of freedom.

Be well. Do good. Pay attention. Keep learning
